Core & Warranty Policies

Q: Is there a cost on returns?

If you are dissatisfied with the product you received or need a different part than what you ordered, you may return your order for a timely refund or exchange. ALL returns will subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee of the invoice total. Additional fees may apply, especially on special ordered items. The products MUST be returned in the same new condition that you received them, uninstalled, and in the original packaging. In order to receive a refund, you MUST return your product in the same new condition in which you received it within 30 days of the purchase date. No refunds will be given on returns after 30 days. The original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Exchanges will be permitted ONLY if you call and receive proper authorization first. The customer is responsible for any and all shipping charges associated with returns or exchanges. Please ship your return or exchange to the address provided below using a prepaid, insured, and traceable method of shipping. Call or email for return address.

Q: CORE RETURNS

To be eligible for core credit, the core must be like for like with the item you purchased. Please make sure your core is drained of any fluids, bagged up, and placed back in the original box and packaging. Make sure there is enough packing materials to prevent shipment damage. We do not require a RGA number for return but we do ask that you include a copy of your purchase receipt or at minimum, the name the order was placed under, somewhere on or in the package. Prepaid return labels will be provided for core returns for all continental US addresses; this excludes Alaska and Hawaii. Cores are to be shipped back to us at: Call or email for shop address.

Q: INJECTION PUMPS

Full Core Refund will be given on good cores only when returned within 90 days of the receipt date.

Half Core Refund will be given when:

  • A good core is returned between 3 and 6 months of receipt date
  • Core is or has previously been disassembled
  • Core has a broken/damaged housing or camshaft
  • Core has a seized or cracked head
  • Core is full of rust and/or other contamination
  • Core not like for like will be inspected to establish value 
  • Fire damaged cores will be inspected to establish value
  • Missing parts will be charged against the core
  • NO Core Credit will be given 6 or more months after receipt date

Q: INJECTORS

Full Core Refund will be given on good cores only when returned within 90 days of the receipt date.

Half Core Credit will be given when a good core is returned between 3 and 6 months of receipt date

No Core Credit will be given 6 or more months after receipt date

Any damage that rendering the core unusable will receive no credit.

Cores that are rusted, contaminated, fire damaged, or missing parts, or are not like for like are subjected to a per case evaluation that may result in no credit or partial credit.

Q: TURBO CHARGERS

Full Core Refund will be given on good cores only when returned within 90 days of the receipt date. (must be complete with both housings attached and be like for like)

HALF CORE CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN WHEN:

  • A good core is returned between 3 and 6 months
  • No Core Credit will be given 6 or more months after receipt date

WHERE CORE CHARGE IS $100.00

No Core Credit will be given when core has been removed improperly; such as torching and the core is damaged.

WHERE CORE CHARGE IS $200.00

  • No Core Credit will be given when core has been removed improperly, such as torching and is damaged.
  • Half Core Credit will be given when either housing or wheel is damaged and rendering it unusable

WHERE CORE CHARGE IS $300.00+

  • Full Core Credit will be given when both housings are reusable
  • Half Core Credit will be given when only one housing is reusable
  • NO Core Credit will be given if neither housing is reusable

Q: WARRANTY POLICY

STANDARD WARRANTY

Most products sold by Emerson AG are warranted for a minimum of 12 months.  Our products are guaranteed to be free from defects for one year from the original date of purchase.  Any product in question must be returned back to Emerson Ag for analysis before any warranty is given or any replacement parts are sent! Customers requesting warranty service on any product must return the product to Emerson Ag and may be required to provide proof of original purchase. Products failing due to defective parts or workmanship will be repaired, replaced, or credited at Emerson Ag’s discretion. The warranty will be voided if the part has been disassembled, altered, or tampered with in any way! Under no circumstances does this warranty cover any product that, in the opinion of Emerson Ag has been subjected to engine failure, negligent use, misuse, alteration, tampering, improper maintenance, improper application, accident, fire, contamination, or improper installation. High performance applications carry no warranty. However, these may be evaluated on a case by case basis and consideration may be given. Items that will not be allowed for warranty consideration are mileage, transportation charges, food, lodging, equipment down time, equipment rental, loss of profits, communication expense, diagnosis, towing, labor in waiting or overtime, freight/shipping costs, and consequential engine or equipment damage. Legitimate claims, when the product is within the warranty period, will be considered on a case by case basis. All claims for warranty coverage must be filed within 30 days of product failure. Removal and replacement labor may be available at the discretion of the manufacturer on a case by case basis and must be filed at the time of the claim. Certain exclusions may apply.
